I’m Kimberlee, your dog trainer and owner at Black Magic Dog Training. I’ve been a professional dog trainer for nearly a decade now, and in that time I’ve found that dogs succeed the most when you invest in people.
It’s that belief in investing in both the dog and the human that has brought me to my owner-centric training model, focusing on the empowerment and education of the dog owner.

Daycare Training
Black Magic Dog Training’s day training program is daycare with the power of professional dog training. Drop your dog off in the morning, pick up in the evening, and get the same professional dog training as you would in any board-and-train program.
Dogs go on field trips, receive individualized training sessions, and work on behavior and socialization, all while you go about your normal day. Receive an update session before taking your dog home, as well as a FREE private lesson for every 7 days of doggie daycare and training.
Dogs are cared for and trained in Kent, WA, in home with the trainer (no noisy kennel!) on a 3 acre wooded property.
Doggy daycare training is $100/day, with pickup/dropoff available with additional fee.

Drop-In Group Classes
Our drop-in group training sessions are designed for real life—flexible, practical, and built to help your dog succeed around everyday distractions. These structured classes give you the opportunity to train in a controlled group environment without committing to a rigid schedule. Whether you’re working on obedience, leash skills, or simply want to improve your dog’s focus around other dogs and people, you can show up when it works for you and get meaningful, hands-on guidance every time.
Group sessions are where training truly comes together. Your dog learns not just to perform behaviors, but to hold them under pressure—around movement, noise, and other dogs. This is where reliability is built. Get feedback in real time, helping you refine your timing, handling, and communication so you leave each session with skills you can immediately apply in the real world.
As a bonus, clients who invest in a daycare training program or a private lesson package of five sessions or more receive one full year of unlimited drop-in group classes at no additional cost. It’s Black Magic Dog Training’s way of supporting long-term success—because great training isn’t a one-time event, it’s an ongoing process. Show up, put in the reps, and watch your dog transform.
Group classes and pack walks are available on a drop-in basis. We cover topics like refining reactivity, tricks and obedience, and more! UNLIMITED group classes are FREE for a year when you buy a private lesson package of 5 or more.
AKC evaluation for CGC, CGCU, CGCA, all levels of Trick Dog, and the AKC Temperament Test. Evaluation is open to everyone, but free for one test to those enrolled in private lesson programs of 5 or more.
You and your service dog are a team. Time to train like one. Black Magic Dog Training is dedicated to helping the disabled community of the greater Seattle area by empowering individuals and providing affordable and effective private lesson options for the owner-trained service dog.

Black Magic Dog Training is currently undergoing a program redesign in order to create a board-and-train service that aligns with our primary vision of superior support and owner-centric training.
We are refurbishing our home kennel and training space as well as exercising plans for the expansion of our team and services! Board-and-train spots are expected to open in the summer of 2026.
