Our XLbully needed some extra training attention and Kimberlee helped us out with her Board and Train program while we were away. She is the perfect mix of professional, strong, calm and sweet, and our big boy was confident and comfortable with her leadership. Full disclosure, I am and have always been REALLY hesitant about who I allow to watch and spend time with my dog(s) and Kimberlee is absolutely in that circle now. Have full confidence in her abilities and know you are getting the best! Both you and your dog(s) will reap the benefits and be so grateful! Kimee has been watching our puppy since he was under 10 weeks old and now he’s over 6 months, she has been wonderful with him and provides great daily updates on him after her drop-in visits. He’s a happy boy after his walks and play time! Elodie HagbergTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My dog is a strong Malinois, German Shepherd, Pinscher mix. He is a puller on leash. We both were comfortable with Kimee's confidence in handling my boy. Her kindness, flexibility and trustworthiness (she has my door code and I have cameras inside house) are beyond measure. I found her via an app and wouldn't trust my beloved dog or home with anyone else. Do not hesitate to entrust your fur baby to her. I look forward to our sessions each week. cheryl hooperTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This positive review is well overdue. I foster for Dog Gone Seattle rescue. I have a lot of experience with dogs and am pretty capable of training dogs. That said, I got in over my head with a young foster and needed support. The dog was roughly 8-10 months old and had zero training. He was the hardest dog I ever fostered. He was tricky. I suspect the dog had never been owned or lived in a house ever. He came from California where dogs can be born and live on the streets for some time. He had been in a south LA rescue as a stray for a few months where they used him to play with other dogs. He had loads of potential, but was rough around the edges and very insecure. He just wanted to fit in to something, but didn't know how. He had a very high play drive. He was too playful and if he didn't get engaged with, he would jump on my dogs and try a rougher way to play. It started to create stress at home. Additionally, he had some leash reactivity that is hard for me to focus on where I live and with my full time job. I didn't want to give up on him, but I needed help. Dog Gone Seattle referred the dog to Black Magic Training to provide gap training and fill in the blanks where I could not support. Black Magic Training took him in for two weeks and worked with him. Kimmee saw him through his insecurity immediately and knew exactly what to do. Two weeks later, I arrived to pick him up to observe a well-rounded, more confident, calmer dog. When I brought him home he fit in the household better, was less anxious, and we could experience the true wonderful, social, playful dog that he is. The best news is that he got a solid home that appreciates him with a foundation for further future training and structure and a successful life with his family. She practices the balanced training method, and her knowledgeable, hands-on approach was exactly what my foster Belgian Malinois needed after being adopted out for two months and returned with intense reactivity and other new challenges. Kimberlee carefully assessed my foster and crafted a focused plan to tackle the reactivity episodes, including the safe use of a prong collar. The results were impressive — we saw measurable improvement within a single session. Kimberlee showed us how to apply techniques safely and confidently. Training felt like a fun, collaborative journey that empowered both dog and human. If you want a skilled, compassionate trainer who blends clear instruction with real-world results, give Black Magic Dog Training a try! She does in your own home training as well as daycare and board and train. We rescued a dog in Costa Rica that had been born in the shelter and lived there for 26 months! Not a lot of interaction out in the real world. Just daily walks at the grounds surrounding the shelter. No home visits or car rides. He started Resource guarding me from other members in our household. We have had him home for 2 months and he is becoming more self assured bit by bit. He is seeing me more as his comfort person now. She is very patient with him and has simple tips for us to work on with him. He is getting along with our other two dogs and slowly thinking other people aren’t so bad. He is such a smart and loving dog. Kimberlee is bringing out the best in him (and us!) I would highly recommend her. The in home training is amazing. Plus the doggy daycare board and train. We had her watch all three dogs overnight and I thought they would hate it. They have never been without us. When she comes over they are all scrambling for her attention. So, they indeed had fun. 10 out of 10. Do it!! Sidney Stanton NguyenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Can not recommend Kimberlee enough! As a first time dog owner I had no idea how to handle my dogs anxiety. I had previously tried training elsewhere at a pretty established training center and it did not have an impact on my dog's behavior so I was nervous to try again. I am not joking when I tell you the majority of the issues I was having with my dog were solved within a week of working with Kimberlee! Her training has dramatically improved my relationship with my dog. She goes above and beyond and clearly has an amazing understanding of dogs.
